Trax & Trails - 4x4 off road driver training
Our 50 acre wooded site lies on the border of Devon and Cornwall in the beautiful Tamar Valley.
We specialise in Off-Road 4x4 driver tuition and 'Driving Experiences'.
Our instructors and site are British Off-Road Driving Association (BORDAHigher Level) accredited, our instructors are very experienced and speak 'off-road' and '4x4' fluently!
Driving courses range from a 1.5 hr taster to a BORDA part 2 professional 2 day course, all with certificates to successful participants.
Corporate Events, Hen and Stag parties also catered for.
Off-Road Driving
We are a BORDA Higher Level accredited site, we follow and implement their Codes of Practice and use BORDA registered instructors.

Recreational
For the 4x4 owner who wants to further his/her knowledge, paying particular attention to safety and vehicle capabilities.
Some topics covered are:
Off-road driving techniques
Safety Checks and Environmental Policy
Practical driving experience.....ascents, descents, sideslopes,ruts, mud etc.
4x4 Experience
Designed to suit the needs of the ‘Never tried it before' client w ho probably doesn't own a 4x4 (yet!) Possibly given as a birthday gift (vouchers available). Course content similar to previous but maybe a little more light hearted but never forgetting to ‘Think safety'.
Winching
1 or 2 day intensive course for groups of 2-4 people.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting is available to individuals and groups, novices and improvers. Quality tuition is provided by our BASC coach, all consumables are provided.
Clay Pigeon shooting is also offered as part of our Corporate/Hen/Stag packages.
Archery
Available for individuals and groups on its own or as part of a multi actinity half or full day.
SPECIAL PACKAGES
Drive'n'Shoot
Spend the morning Off-Roading at our woodland site, experiencing steep ascents, descents, ruts and mud, using our vehicles with BORDA registered instructor.
Have fun but also learn the specialist techniques to drive 'Off Road' safely.
Enjoy lunch at an adjoining country hotel then its back on site for an afternoon of Clay Pigeon Shooting with one of our BASC coach. All equipment provided.

Off-Road Mini Break
Arrive in time for dinner at adjoining hotel, enjoy a Full English Breakfast then meet you instructor for your Full day Off-Road Driving Experience.
Learn the basics of safe 4x4 driving, explore the woodland tracks, overcome the steep ascents, descents and enjoy the mud and water....Have Fun, Rise to the Challenge!

Off-Road 2 Day Break
As Mini Break but with 2 days driving, or swop some of the driving for Clay Pigeon Shooting, Dinner (inc bottle wine) Bed and Breakfast and lunch on both days included.

All our courses are run using our vehicles although clients may use their own for part of if it is suitable, Course contents follow the BORDA codes of practice and our instructors are BORDA registered so you are assured of experienced professional standards.
